CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - A Martinsburg, W.Va., man has been charged with attempted murder and two counts of arson following a fire at a house in Bolivar, W.Va., last October, court records said.
Richard Lee Lippart, 37, of 2100 Farm Pond Lane, was charged Thursday with first-degree arson, third-degree arson and two counts of attempted murder, court records said.
On Oct. 11, a man who lived with a woman in the house at 116 Columbia Ave. in Bolivar went into the kitchen and noticed a large amount of smoke, according to Jefferson County Magistrate Court records.
The man and the woman exited the house and heard a man outside yelling, "that's what you get, Randy," court records allege.
