Pa. man killed in car crash

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A 24-year-old Orrstown, Pa., man was killed early Friday morning when his car ran off Roxbury Road in Southhampton Township in northern Franklin County and struck a utility pole, police said.

Pennnsylvania State Police in Chambersburg said Nathaniel D. Findley of 3589 Orrstown Road, was not wearing a seat belt.

The cause of death was blunt force head trauma, said Jeffrey R. Conner, Franklin County Coroner.

Findley was pronounced dead at the scene by deputy Coroner Kenneth Pieffer Jr.

State Police said Findley was driving north on Roxbury Road in his 1993 Toyota Tercel Sport around 1:50 a.m. when he veered into the southbound lane and struck a utility pole. He was ejected on impact.

The car rolled over and landed on its wheels on the other side of the road, police said.
