Maynard-Tucker


Katherine Sue Tucker and Gregory Lee Maynard were united in marriage Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at Hollowell Brethren in Christ Church in Waynesboro, Pa.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Tucker of Smithsburg. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Maynard of Williamson, Pa.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Smithsburg High School, received an associate of applied science in medical assistant/secretary from Hagerstown Business College in 2000 and plans to complete the nursing program at Penn State Mont Alto in May. She is employed as a resident assistant at The Village at Robinwood.

The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of James Buchanan High School in Mercersburg, Pa. He served in the U.S. Army for three years at Fort Sill, Okla., and is a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, stationed at Fort Stewart, Ga. He is employed as a lead installation technician for Productivity Solutions Inc. in Jacksonville, Fla.

Bofenkamp-Michael


Jennifer Ann Michael and Shawn Ray Bofenkamp were married Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at Christ Reformed Church in Hagers-town.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Creegan of Hagerstown and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Michael of West Columbia, S.C. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Roberts of Hagerstown and Gary Bofenkamp of Minot, N.D.

The bride is a 1989 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and attended Hagerstown Junior College. She is employed as a customer service representative with First Data Merchant Services in Hagerstown.

The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Minot High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1990 to 1996. He is employed as a customer service representative with First Data Merchant Services in Hagerstown.

They live in Hagerstown.




Young-Goad


Hilary Suzanne Goad and David Francis Young were married Saturday, June 22, 2002, at People's Baptist Church in Frederick, Md.

The bride is the daughter of Calvin and Kay Goad of Sharpsburg. The bridegroom is the son of Francis "Skip" and Barbara "Lois" Young of Frederick.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Frederick Christian Academy and a 2001 graduate of Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Fla. She is a second-grade teacher at Frederick Christian Academy.

Mr. Young also is a 1997 graduate of Frederick Christian Academy and a 2001 graduate of Pensacola Christian College. He is employed as an engineer with STV Inc. in Baltimore.

They live in Frederick.




DeLauter-Griffin


Frances I. Griffin and Thaddeus L. DeLauter were married Friday, Feb. 14, 2003, at Candlelight Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nev.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Carol Butts of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Ronald and Shirley DeLauter of Greencastle, Pa.

The bride is a 1987 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. She is an assistant technician with Verizon in Martinsburg, W.Va.

The bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School and a 1996 graduate of Pennsylvania State University. He is employed as an engineering assistant with Verizon in Hagerstown.

They live in Martinsburg.




Weber-Nigh


Nancy Ann (nee Nunamaker) Nigh and Lawrence M. Weber were married Jan. 19, 2003, at Hagerstown Grace Brethren Church in Hagerstown.

The bride is a 1957 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. She is also a 1960 graduate of the Washington County Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Weber is employed as an administrative assistant at the Williamsport Retirement Village in Williamsport.

The bridegroom is a 1957 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa. Mr. Weber is president of L. M. Weber & Associates in Hagerstown.

Mr. and Mrs. Weber live in Hagerstown.
