Bank of Charles Town

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Cathy Jo Fraley has been promoted to assistant manager of Deposit Operations at Bank of Charles Town.

Fraley began working at Bank of Charles Town in 1998 and became head teller at the main office in 2002.

Country Meadows Retirement Community

FREDERICK, Md. - Chad Rawls has been appointed director of marketing at Country Meadows Retirement Community of Frederick.

Rawls formerly worked as a marketing director with Country Meadows' sister company, Providence Place, in Chambersburg, Pa.

Love & Co.

FREDERICK, Md. - Rob Love, president of Love & Co., received the 2003 Silver Medal Award at the annual Greater Frederick Advertising Federation awards ceremony on March 1 in Frederick.

Love has been with Love & Co. since 1989, becoming president in 1998.

Washington County Hospital

Mark Mann, Radiology Information Systems/Picture Archive and Communications System coordinator at Washington County Hospital, received the hospital's Core Values Award on Feb. 13.


The award is given to an employee who excels in at least one of the five hospital core values and recognizes consistency in the job over time as well as going above and beyond what is required.

Long & Foster

Rose Greenawalt was the top producer and the agent with the most new listings in February at the Hagerstown Long & Foster office.

She had a sales volume of $1,209,500.

Mary Llewellyn was the top seller, and Rick Baker was the top lister.

Keystone Health Center

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Linda Elliott has been named director of development for Keystone Health Center in Chambersburg.

Elliott, who has served on Keystone's board of directors since 1998, was previously employed by Lutheran Social Services.

Elliott, of Chambersburg, will work to increase opportunities for giving from individuals, businesses, corporations and churches as well as provide education on the services Keystone provides in Franklin County.

Nemitz is based at 7200 Bank Court.

Tina Green of Hagerstown has been promoted to team leader by Tastefully Simple Inc., a national direct sales company selling upscale, convenience-driven gourmet foods.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Karen Starr with Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA was Agent of the Month for February in the Greencastle office.

The award is given based on the number of listings taken, sales made, attendance of Realtor functions and Continuing Education classes completed.

Starr, of Greencastle, was also recognized as February's leader in service.

Anthony D'Anna of McConnellsburg, Pa., and Julie Wesley of Greencastle, sales associates with Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA, have completed requirements of the ERA Top Gun Academy, an advanced training course offered by ERA.

Associated Builders and Contractors

Area students were among more than 100 craft apprentices who competed in the 18th annual ABC National Craft Olympics of Associated Builders and Contractors at the San Diego Convention Center during ABC's national convention March 12-16.

The following area fourth-year ABC apprenticeship students competed at the competition: John Sanders, City of Frederick, Md.; Jason Dungan, Nelson Plumbing and Heating; and Mark Keefer of Heilig's Plumbing and Heating.

Each placed first at the local competition to win the trip to San Diego. Dungan won first place in the HVAC competition at the National Olympics in San Diego.

RE/MAX Achievers

Debbie Heckman was the top agent with commissions earned in February at RE/MAX Achievers of Hagerstown.

Dale Valentine was the top listing agent and the top agent in new sales.
