Faith and War is focus of Frostburg seminar

March 31, 2003

A forum on interfaith dialogue titled "Faith and War" will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Frostburg State University community room, 16 W. Washington St.

Americans are divided about the purpose of the war in Iraq, its goals and its morality.

This combined with recent threats of terrorism is affecting people in a variety of ways. The Interfaith Coalition in Washington County is committed to strengthening community and building relationships across religious and cultural lines.

There will be an exploration of how the war is affecting religious communities and what can be done by those of faith to generate trust and understanding in a difficult time.
