Discipline techniques

The Waynesboro Area YMCA will offer a workshop entitled, "Raising Kids and Supervising Adults," from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 20.

According to YMCA Executive Director Dick Marks, who is also the program instructor, "This is a consequence-based program that gives parents and supervisors the basic framework from which to provide fair, clear and consistent discipline. The program helps minimize the anger and frustration that sometimes accompanies discipline."

The class is open to the public as part of the YMCA's "Friendliest Place in Town" program.

To pre-register, call 1-717-762-6012. There is a fee for non-members.
