Raymond A. Hebb

Raymond Aldeen Hebb, 84, of Ravenwood Lutheran Village, Hagerstown, and formerly of Falling Waters, W.Va., died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Nov. 19, 1918, in Sharpsburg, he was the son of the late Harry Thomas and Nellie Blanche Stull Hebb.

He was a 1937 graduate of Boonsboro High School.

He was employed by Potomac Edison for 33 years, retiring in 1981.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel Louise Kave Hebb, whom he married May 18, 1946; three daughters, Elizabeth A. Burgan of Boonsboro, Rebecca J. Pflaum of Murrysville, Pa. and Bonnie S. Shirk of Clear Spring; one sister, Jean H. Reel of Sharpsburg; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one stepson, David E. Dodd; and one sister, Betty J. Hines.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport. The Rev. Don Stevenson will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.

The family will receive friends Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, which will open at 9 a.m.
