Levi M. Faith

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Levi M. Faith, 66, of 15 W. North St., died Friday, March, 7, 2003, at Waynesboro Hospital.

Born March 15, 1936, in Hancock, he was the son of the late Ernest C. and Anna C. Geronimo Faith.

He was a 1954 graduate of Old Towne High School in Allegany County, Md.

He was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1976 as a staff sergeant, trained as a structural technician with a specialty in stone masonry and carpentry. He served on bases in Nebraska, North Carolina, Texas and Turkey.

He was a self-employed contractor in the Washington County and Waynesboro areas. He retired in 1998.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1758 and Eagles Inc., both in Waynesboro.

He is survived by two daughters, Anna M. Faith of Sioux City, Iowa, and Lee Carol of Wagner, S.D.; one sister, Seleatha Munson of Hancock; two brothers, Curtis W. Faith of Los Angeles; and Reuben E. Faith of Hagerstown; his companion, Faye Quackenbos; five granddaughters; nine great-grandchildren; one aunt; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rita Faith.

Services will be private.

There will be no public viewing.

Arrangements are by Cumberland Valley Crematorium in Waynesboro.
