FORT LOUDON, Pa. - William B. Leab, 88, of 13371 Lincoln Way West, died Thursday, March 6, 2003, at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, Pa.
Born Aug. 15, 1914, in Fort Loudon, Pa., he was the son of the late Fred S. and Clara Zeis Leab.
He was a machine operator for 43 years at the Chambersburg Engineering Co., retiring in 1980.
He attended the Assembly of God Church in Orbisonia, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Pearl Jane Everets Leab, whom he married May 28, 1938; three daughters, Clara J. Williamson and Hazel Hamil, both of Fort Loudon, and Nellie Smith of Mercersburg, Pa.; three sons, Fred Leab of Chambersburg, Pa., Ted Leab of Rockhill Furnace, Pa., and Robert I. Leab of Fort Loudon; one sister, Isabelle Mackey of Horse Valley, Pa.; two brothers, Sam Leab of Fort Loudon and Earl Leab of Greencastle, Pa.; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
