ORANGE CITY, Fla. - Charles Herman Baker, 90, of French Avenue, died Thursday, March 6, 2003, at Florida Hospital in Deland, Fla.

He was born Aug. 10, 1912, in Hagerstown.

He was the owner and operator of a dry cleaning business in Miami.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was a member of Calvary Grace Brethren Church in Deltona, Fla.

He was the director and founder of Deland Party Bridge.

He is survived by two daughters, Jean Cox of Deltona and Barbara O'Connor of Orange City; one son, Charles Baker Jr. of Deland; one sister, Mabel Hoch of Cleveland; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Baldauff Family Funeral Home and Crematory, Orange City.
