Aleshire-Patrey


Terry and Deborah Aleshire of Clear Spring announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Nanette Aleshire, to Matthew William Patrey, son of William and Susan Patrey of Boonsboro.

Miss Aleshire is a 1999 graduate of Clear Spring High School, a 2001 graduate of Hagerstown Community College and plans to graduate in May from Frostburg State University with a bachelor of science degree in liberal studies.

Mr. Patrey is a 1998 graduate of Boonsboro High School, a 2001 graduate of Hagerstown Community College and plans to graduate in May from Shepherd College with a bachelor of science degree in business administration.

A November 2004 wedding is planned.




Barrett-Morrow


Sandra Miguel of Hagerstown and Raymond Barrett of Greencastle, Pa., announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Barrett, to John Morrow, son of James Morrow of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jean Haglund of Jamestown, N.Y.

Miss Barrett is a 1997 graduate of Williamsport High School and a 2001 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., with a bachelor's degree in law/environmental engineering. She is a platoon leader with the 188th Military Police Company, 728th Military Police Battalion, U.S. Army. She is stationed at Camp Walker, Korea.

Mr. Morrow is a 1993 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 1997 graduate of Asbury College in Wilmore, Ky., with a bachelor's degree in biology. He is a platoon leader with A Company, 44th Engineer Battalion, U.S. Army. He is stationed at Camp Howze, Korea.

A July wedding is planned at Cadet Chapel, United States Military Academy, West Point.




McKee-Humphreys


Michael and Barbara McKee of Maugansville announce the engagement of their daughter, Alyson Paige McKee, to Michael John Humphreys, son of Donald and Luana Humphreys of New Hartford, N.Y.

Ms. McKee is a 1993 graduate of Mercersburg Academy, a 1997 graduate of Union College with a bachelor of science degree in biology and received a master of science degree in cardiovascular sciences from Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y., in 2001. She is enrolled in Shenandoah University's physician assistant program and plans to receive a second master's degree in December 2004.

Mr. Humphreys is a 1993 graduate of New Hartford High School, a 1997 graduate of Union College with a bachelor of science degree in applied mathematics and is completing a master's degree in athletic administration at State University of New York at Brockport. He is employed with First American Mortgage in Leesburg, Va.

An Aug. 16 wedding is planned at Mercersburg Academy Chapel in Mercersburg, Pa.




Steiner-Stottlemyer


Tiffany Steiner and Joshua Stottlemyer announce their engagement.

Miss Steiner is the daughter of Pamela Steiner of Hagers-town and Timothy Steiner of Williamsport. She is a 1998 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. She is pursuing a degree in early childhood education. She is employed by Washington County Board of Education as an instructional assistant in special education.

Mr. Stottlemyer is the son of Richard and Debra Stottlemyer. He is a 1997 graduate of Boonsboro High School. He is employed as a technician at Rentals Unlimited Inc. in Frederick, Md.

An Oct. 4 wedding is planned.




Smith-Shifflet


Leon and Carol Smith of Warfordsburg, Pa., announce the engagement of their daughter, Tina Smith, to Ryan Shifflet, son of William and Judy Shifflet of Hancock.

Ms. Smith is a graduate of Southern Fulton High School and Allegany College of Maryland. She is employed by Robinwood Orthopedic Specialists in Hagerstown as an MRI technologist.

Mr. Shifflet is a graduate of Hancock High School and Hagerstown Community College. He is employed by Washington County Sheriff's Department in Hagerstown as a deputy sheriff.

A Nov. 8 wedding is planned.




Kline-Stottlemyer


Cynthia Marie Kline and Stephen Sean Stottlemyer announce their engagement.

Ms. Kline is the daughter of Henry and Ronalda Lynch of Hagerstown. She is a 2001 graduate of Williamsport High School and is a full-time student at Hagerstown Community College. She is employed by Washington County Board of Education.

Mr. Stottlemyer is the son of Stephen and Gail Stottlemyer of Hagerstown. He is a 2000 graduate of Williamsport High School. He serves part-time with the Maryland Army National Guard in Frederick, Md. He is employed by Culligan.

A June 7 wedding is planned in Hagerstown.




Kinzer-Hammersla


Kimberly and Wayne Kinzer of Williamsport announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle R. Hammersla, to Jeremy C. Ritter of Hagerstown.

Ms. Hammersla is a 1995 graduate of Williamsport High School. She is employed with Limited Inc.

Mr. Ritter is a 1995 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and graduated from Accutech Business Institute with an electoral technician degree. He is employed at Glessner Alarm and Communications in Hagerstown.

An April 2004 wedding is planned.
