Donald D. Dull

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - Donald Denton "Moose" Dull, 78, of 85 Fairground Road and formerly of St. Leonard, Md., died Friday, March 7, 2003, at the home of his daughter.

Born Dec. 19, 1924, in Mont Alto, Pa., he was the son of the late Chester L. and Carrie B. Wile Dull.

He was preceded in death by his wife, M. Elizabeth "Skip" Irvine Dull, in 1992. They were married in 1948.

He attended Waynesboro, Pa., schools.

He was a 26-year veteran of the Baltimore Police Department, retiring in 1986.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was a member of St. Nicholas Lutheran Church in Huntingtown, Md.

He was a member of American Legion Hamilton Post of Baltimore; and Fraternal Order of Police.

He is survived by three daughters, Donita Krueger of Elkridge, Md., Ruth Thompson of Bel Air, Md., and Barbara Ward of Prince Frederick; one son, Bruce Dull of Baltimore; one sister, Hazel R. Dull of Waynesboro, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his companion, Carolene Henneberger of Greencastle, Pa.


He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth C. Dull.

Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro. The Revs. Randall W. Casto and Anna Straight will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
