W. Glen Nichols

WINCHESTER, Va. - W. Glen "Nick" Nichols, 91, of Handley Avenue, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at Winchester Medical Center.

Born Sept. 15, 1911, in Charlestown, Md., he was the son of the late John H. and Bertha Teeter Nichols.

He was the maintenance foreman at Shockey Brothers.

He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he attended Men's Bible Class.

He was a Boy Scout leader, past treasurer of American Red Cross and a member of Elks Club of Hagerstown.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Warrenfeltz, whom he married Nov. 19, 1935; two daughters, Charlotte Rainsberger of Winchester and Susan N. DeHaven of Alexandria, Va.; one brother, J. Blair Nichols of Winter Park, Fla.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winchester. The Rev. James H. Utt will officiate.
