Hawks split pair on spring trip

COCOA BEACH, Fla. - Justin Wenger went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer and two doubles to lead Hagerstown Community College past Iowa Lakes Community College 11-5 in the Hawks' first of two games on Sunday.

HCC (3-1) dropped its second game 7-2 to Dean College.

Chris Anderson added three hits against Iowa Lakes, while Ryan Brady, Zach Glover and Paul Conway each had two hits. Hawks pitcher Colby Rickabaugh struck out three in two scoreless innings of work for the win.

Travis Hebron had two hits while Ben Leonard had an RBI double for HCC against Dean College.
