Luvina H. Heskett

BRUNSWICK, Md. - Luvina Hylton Heskett, 67, of 115 E. H St., died Saturday, March 8, 2003, at Washington (D.C.) Hospital Center.

Born May 26, 1935, in Floyd, Va., she was the daughter of the late Jabe H. and Carsie Weeks Hylton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edwin Heskett Sr.

She was a graduate of Bridgewater College.

She retired after teaching at Lovettsville (Va.) Elementary School for 30 years.

She was a Lutheran.

She was a member of Bridgewater Alumni and Virginia Teachers Association.

She is survived by two daughters, Margaret A. Huffer of Brunswick, and Natalie Heskett of Frederick, Md.; one son, James E. Heskett Jr. of Boston; two sisters, Lola Myers of Union Bridge, Md., and Jean Dippery of Taneytown, Md.; three brothers, Kavilla Hylton of Riner, Va., Nelson Hylton of Salem, Va., and Clyde Hylton of Richmond, Ind.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by one brother, Taswell Hylton.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home, Brunswick. Pastor Stacey L. Brady will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Lovettsville.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open after 9 a.m.
