Mildred P. Meyers

WILLIAMSPORT - Mildred Pearl Meyers, 87, of 220 Otho Holland Drive, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Aug. 24, 1915, in Clear Spring, she was the daughter of the late Calvin McClellen and Fannie Laura Miles Myers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Omar Meyers Sr., in 1964.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church in Williamsport, where she had served as the organist and junior choir director.

She was a member of Red Feather Council 59 Degree of Pocahontas of Williamsport and the AARP.

She is survived by three daughters, Mildred M. Litten and Geraldine K. Andrews, both of Williamsport, and Palma J. Shank of Downsville; one son, Harry O. Meyers Jr. of Williamsport; nine grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Myers and Kenny Myers; and one grandson.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport. The Revs. James E. Swecker and David Highfield will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests the omission of flowers.
