GETTYSBURG, Pa. - A 40-year-old Chambersburg, Pa., woman was killed Saturday in a two-vehicle accident in Adams County, Pennsylvania State Police in Gettysburg said.

The victim was identified as Levesque Hicks. Her address was unavailable.

Two passengers in Hicks' 1988 Plymouth sedan were injured in the accident, police said.

Easter Tyler, 44, no address available, was listed in good condition at York (Pa.) Hospital, and Frankie Howard, 55, of Gettysburg, was in critical condition at the hospital, a spokeswoman said Monday.

No one in the Hicks vehicle was wearing a seat belt, police said.

According to police, a 1987 Volvo station wagon driven by Jimmy Nixon, 29, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was eastbound on Chambersburg Road in Franklin Township when Nixon tried to make a U-turn.

Hicks' vehicle, also eastbound, struck Nixon's vehicle in the rear, police said.

Nixon suffered minor injuries, police said.
