Area Roundup - Knights clinch, Indians advance

BOYS BASKETBALL



WILLIAMSPORT - Brad Kehoe led Middletown with 16 points Monday as the Knights clinched the Monocacy Valley Athletic League title with a 56-43 victory over Williamsport.

Pete Colwell had 14 points with six assists and three steals for Middletown (15-4), while John Keimig had 11 points.

Josh Foley led Williamsport (9-11) with 14 points and Ben Jordan had 11.

EVERETT, Pa. - Will Whiteside had 22 points as Southern Fulton claimed a berth in the PIAA District 5 Class A championship game with a victory over Berlin.

Will Schriver added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Indians (20-6), while Danny True scored 10.

Southern Fulton plays for the district title Wednesday at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown.
