Lillian B. Myers


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Lillian B. Myers, 96, a resident of Menno Haven, and formerly of 265 N. Carlisle St., Greencastle, Pa., died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at the nursing home.

Born May 31, 1906, in Antrim Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late George L. and Minnie K. Clingan Bear. She also resided in Shady Grove, Pa., and Marion, Pa.

Her husband, Norman E. "Jumbo" Myers, died Oct. 1, 1974.

She attended school at Guitners, Air Hill and Browns Mill schools.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church near Upton, Pa.

She is survived by 17 nieces and seven nephews. She was the last of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Ethel J. Nicewarner, Hester A. Overcash, Mary I. Zimmerman and Nora R. Niswander; and four brothers, Luther C. Bear, Rolla J. Baer, Howard Bear and G. Frederick Bear.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Greencastle. The Rev. Alan R. Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 8835 Lemar Road, Greencastle, PA 17225.




Richard J. Conner Jr.


KNOXVILLE - Richard Joseph Conner Jr., 61, of 2102 Frazer Road, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at Frederick (Md.) Memorial Hospital.

Born June 11, 1941, in Brunswick, Md., he was the son of the late Richard J. Sr. and Dorothy Eury Conner.

He was a plumber with Sweet Water Plumbing, Knoxville.

He was a member of First Church of God, Brunswick.

He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1136, and Steadman-Keenan Post 96 American Legion, both of Brunswick; Frederick Eagles Club 1067; Redman Club, Williamsport; and the Cold Deer Hunting and Fishing Club, Mountaindale, Md.

He is survived by his wife, Connie J. Conner; one daughter, Penny Spring of Keedysville; one son, Thomas Conner of Knoxville; three bothers, Russell Conner of Brunswick, Thomas Conner Sr. of Knoxville, and David Taulton of California; five grandchildren; one aunt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary L. Conner; and two brothers, Eugene Lerch and Michael Conner.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home, Brunswick. The Rev. Ernie E. Witmer will officiate. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the convenience of family and friends.

Catherine M. Neidigh


ORBISONIA, Pa. - Catherine M. Neidigh, 93, of Woodland Retirement Center, and formerly of Blairs Mills, Pa., died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, Pa.

Born April 16, 1909, in Blairs Mills, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Shields Shearer.

Her husband, Edward L. Neidigh, died in 1982.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Cross Keys United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary I. Gibbons and Virginia M. Bonnell, both of Blairs Mills; one son, Edward H. Neidigh, of Blairs Mills; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at John L. Agett Funeral Home, Dry Run, Pa. The Revs. Donald C. Walters and Harold E. Bowers will officiate. Burial will be in Upper Tuscarora Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Waterloo, Pa.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jennifer R. Robinson


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Jennifer R. "Jenn" Robinson, 16, of 151 Chancellor Drive, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, in Chambersburg Hospital.

Born March 5, l986, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Donald and Cindy Mackey Robinson.

She was a member of Chambersburg Area Senior High School class of 2004.

She was employed part time at Denny's Restaurant, and did house-sitting and baby-sitting for neighbors and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Leona Mackey of St. Thomas, Pa.; paternal grandmother, Gerry Robinson of Chambersburg; one sister, Christina M. Robinson of Harrisburg, Pa.; two aunts; great-aunts and great-uncles; and a number of cousins.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas Assembly of God, St. Thomas. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg.

The family requests the omission of flowers.
