Crumbs from the Cracker Barrel

February 19, 2003

Mary Coffman Crampton, a 1932 graduate of Boonsboro High School, remembers a humorous event that occurred while she was in high school. "I usually rode the bus to school, but on various occasions I would drive the car. On one such day, I forgot I had driven the car to Boonsboro. So I rode the bus to Keedysville in the afternoon. When the car wasn't in the place I usually parked it in Keedysville, I remembered it was in Boonsboro. I had to call Dad to come with the truck to take me back to Boonsboro for the car. Everyone thought it was a good joke on me."
