The Maryland state indoor track championships for Class 1A-2A and 2A-3A, which had been moved from Monday to Wednesday, have been moved again thanks to the area's latest snowstorm.

The indoor state meet is now set for Monday, Feb. 24 at Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex in Landover, Md. Doors open at 2 p.m. with events starting at 3.

The Class 3A-4A state meet has also been moved to Feb. 25 at Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex, beginning at 4 p.m.

All area sports scheduled for Sunday and Monday were either canceled or postponed.

As of press time Monday night, the only area action set for today is the men's and women's basketball doubleheader at Shepherd College, originally scheduled for Sunday.

The Rams host West Virginia Conference foe West Virginia Wesleyan. The women begin at 5:15 p.m. with the men following at 7:30.

While most schools were still scrambling for makeup dates Monday night, some reschedulings are set.

The Mason Dixon Christian Conference boys and girls basketball playoffs, which were to start today, will now begin Thursday.

The Independent Athletic Association of Maryland girls basketball playoffs, scheduled to begin Monday, will also start Thursday. The McDonogh girls host St. John's at Prospect Hall at 4 p.m. Thursday in first-round action.

The boys and girls basketball matchups between South Hagerstown and Smithsburg, originally set for today, have been moved to Friday. The boys are at Smithsburg, while the girls are at South. Both have 5:30 p.m. JV starts.

St. Maria Goretti's boys basketball game at McDonogh, which was scheduled for Sunday, has been canceled. The Goretti-Clear Spring girls hoops game from Monday night has also been canceled.
