Marketing directors, entrepreneurs, anyone, male and female, wanting to increase business must have a copy of "Shameless Marketing for Brazen Hussies." This is a book to keep at the ready when planning and carrying out your marketing strategies.

It contains everything you need to know and more. Author Marilyn Ross covers the givens - image with logos and slogans, business cards, letterhead, newsletters, telephone use, catalog sales, etc.

She also discusses maneuvering around radio and television advertising as well as securing an interview, holding special events, consumer education and all facets of advertising on the web.


There are marketing ideas and steps to follow for companies with a sizable advertising budget along with countless ways to create free exposure. Extensive resources are listed throughout the book, including hundreds of Web sites.

Ross is excellent at holding the reader's interest with specific examples, success stories and plenty of humor.

The members of the Management Book Club came to a unanimous decision. "Shameless Marketing for Brazen Hussies" is not only a good read; it's a very valuable tool for any business, nonprofit organization or public entity.
