BOYS BASKETBALL



CLEAR SPRING - David Miner and Ben Mertz scored 25 points each Wednesday to lead South Hagerstown to a 84-67 victory over Clear Spring.

Miner had 10 rebounds and seven assists. Mertz hit four 3-point shots and Jamel Smith added 16 points and Jesse Gutekunst scored 11 for South (13-5).

Josh Schrimsher scored 21 points for the Blazers (7-12) and Will Worthington added 16 points and 10 rebounds.
