CROWNSVILLE, Md. - Volunteer Maryland is accepting applications from nonprofit and government agencies interested in becoming a VM Service Site. A trained VM coordinator will serve at each agency selected to be a service site for the one-year program. The coordinator will work with the agency's staff to develop and manage its volunteer program and/or student service learning project.

To be eligible, agencies must have been in operation for at least one year and have at least one full-time (paid or volunteer) staff. The proposed project must utilize volunteers in direct service activities to meet a critical community need in the area of education, human needs, public safety or the environment.
