Jess McDonald had 12 rebounds for McConnellsburg (11-4), which outrebounded Tussey Mountain 41-27 but made 6 of 7 free throws compared to Tussey's 17 of 23.

BALTIMORE, Md. - Autumn Parson scored 12 points and added 13 rebounds for Hagerstown Community College as the Hawks fell to Baltimore City Community College.

Amanda McGhee had 14 points and eight assists, Ashley Mason scored 13 points, Nicole Brown scored 11 points and Kristy Long added seven steals for the Hawks (10-6, 5-2).

Chambersburg sweeps Jefferson


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Chambersburg swept past visiting Jefferson 110-60 on the girls' side and 118-46 in boys' action.

Ashley Holben, Whitney Blume, Sarah Harty and Jade Zagarella won the 200-meter free relay for the Jefferson girls (11-2) with a time of 2:11.98.

Logan Zagarella placed second in the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 1:19.96 for the Jefferson boys (10-3).

Both Chambersburg teams improved to 6-2.

Smithsburg Valley Baptist 51, Williamsport AOG 43: John Britton led Smithsburg with 21 points, while Andrew Leasure added 11 points. Jamie Hines had 21 points for Williamsport.

Gateway 54, Darden 53: Carlton Davis had 14 points for Gateway, while Jimmy Williams added 10 points. Darden's Brian Shumaker led all scorers with 24 points.

St. James A 81, West End Baptist 59: Eric Keller had a game-high 26 points for St. James while Alan Moore had 24 points in the win. Steve Presgraves paced West End with 24 points.

Tri-State 74, Rehoboth 40: Benji Hunt led Tri-State with 21 points and Jason Connor added 15. Rehoboth got 13 points from Kevin Smoot.

Christ Lutheran 71, St. James B 57: Steve Wilson led Christ Luthern with 20 pts, while Eric Fitzgerald and Brian Kelly added 16 points each. Josh North had 23 points for St. James.

Smithsburg Valley Baptist 51, Williamsport Assembly of God 43: Jon Britton had 21 points and Andrew Leasure added 11 for Smithsburg Valley Baptist on Monday. Jamie Hines had 21 points for Williamsport Assembly of God.

The Black Rock Golf Course has announced that three new board members have been appointed by the Washington County Board of County Commissioners. The new board members are Michael Twigg, Leo Burke and Ron Vitkun.

Recently retired board members include Roger Finn, Robert Starliper and CokeyRobertson.
