Fabulous Hubcaps perform during Humane Society fund-raising event
The Fabulous Hubcaps are returning to Hagerstown to perform a benefit concert for the homeless animals at the Humane Society of Washington County. The concert will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, at Clarion Hotel, 901 Dual Highway, Hagerstown. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 8 p.m.
The oldies and classic rock 'n' roll band will honor artists such as Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, The Coasters, The Platters, The Everly Brothers, Connie Francis, The Shirelles, The Righteous Brothers, Sonny and Cher, James Brown, Otis Redding and many other Motown stars.
The band consists of seven members and originated in Southern Maryland more than 28 years ago.
Lou Scally will be the event's emcee.
In addition to music, there will be tip jars, and a chance to win donated raffled prizes. A cash bar and food concession will be available.
