Tower Bancorp Inc.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Tower Bancorp Inc., parent company of The First National Bank of Greencastle, reports earnings of $1,120,467, or earnings per share of 65 cents, for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2002.

That represents a 44 percent increase over earnings from the fourth quarter of 2001. For 2002, net income was $4,852,767, or $1.80 per share, an increase of 21 percent over last year.

Return on Equity and Return on Assets were 15.8 percent and 1.88 percent, respectively, for the year ending Dec. 31, 2002.

Total assets stood at $262,492,000, an increase of 7 percent, or $16,874,000, over year-end totals for 2001.

FREDERICK, Md. - 3 Roads Communications Inc. has moved its production facilities from Arlington, Va., to Frederick's historic Glass Factory.


3 Roads Communications produces television programs and documentaries for broadcast and cable networks, as well as corporate and nonprofit videos.

Noland Co.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Noland Co.'s board of directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 8 cents, payable on Jan. 23 to stockholders of record at the close of business Jan. 13.

Western Maryland Hospital Center

The Governor's Performance Excellence Assessment Program recently awarded Western Maryland Hospital Center the Level 1 honor.

The recognition, the highest state organizational award available, is based on the Malcolm Baldridge Criteria, a national standard for organizational excellence.

The award was presented in late November at the Governor's Annual Awards and Employee Recognition Training Conference at the Baltimore Convention Center.

Western Maryland Hospital Center was one of six organizations nominated for the award and was the only one to achieve the Level 1 recognition.
