West-Davies

Tobie C. West and John M. Davies of Fairfield, Pa., announce their engagement.

Miss West is the daughter of William F. West of Cascade and Colleen and Al Puciato of Orrtanna, Pa. She is a 1988 graduate of Smithsburg High School. She is employed by the federal government at Fort Detrick Commissary.

Mr. Davies is the son of Rosemary G. Davies of Erie, Pa., and the late Raymond E. Davies. He is a 1975 graduate of Cathedral Preparatory School and a 1979 graduate of Gannon College of Erie with a bachelor of science degree in biology. He is employed as an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration in Leesburg, Va.

A September wedding is planned.




Manahan-Brown

Beth Nicole Manahan and Andrew Dent Brown of Hagers-town announce their engagement.

Ms. Manahan is the daughter of Charles and Linda Manahan of Sabillasville, Md. She is a 1996 graduate of Catoctin High School and a 1999 graduate of Hagerstown Community College with an associate's degree in early childhood education. She is employed as an infant/toddler teacher with Washington County Head Start in Hagers-town.

Mr. Brown is the son of Donald and Debra Corderman of Smithsburg. He is a 1990 graduate of Randolph-Macon Academy. He is employed as a postal clerk with the United States Postal Service in Hagerstown.

A Nov. 1 wedding is planned.




Milburn-Farmer

Cathy Irene Milburn and Darrin Wayne Farmer announce their engagement.

Miss Milburn is the daughter of Virginia Milburn and Richard Vance of Hagerstown and Dennis and Connie Milburn of Boonsboro. She is a graduate of South Hagerstown High School and Hagerstown Community College. She is employed by the Washington County State's Attorney's Office Alternative Sanctions Program.

Mr. Farmer is the son of James and June Farmer of Big Pool. He is a graduate of Clear Spring High School. He is employed by Dot Foods in Williamsport and The Spotlight's On You Karaoke and Deejay Service.

A spring 2004 wedding is planned.
