SMITHSBURG - Catoctin beat Smithsburg for the first time in eight years Friday night, as Heidi Stull scored 17 points and Emily Balogh added 14 for the Cougars (3-3, 2-3) in a 69-59 upset of the No. 4 Leopards.

Katy Powell scored 24 points, including four 3-pointers, and had nine rebounds for Smithsburg (6-3, 4-2). Heather Bywaters scored 11 points.
