BOONSBORO - Lonnell Smith scored 17 points Thursday to lead Boonsboro to a 71-46 Monocacy Valley Athletic League win over Francis Scott Key.

Mitchell Smith scored 15 points to go with seven steals and seven assists. Keith Kellinger grabbed 11 rebounds and Brad Wetzel had 10 rebounds for the Warriors (6-3, 4-2).

HANCOCK - Beall completed a game-long comeback by scoring its last six points from the foul line to knock off Hancock.

The Panthers (1-8) lost three players to fouls, opening the door for the Mountaineers to erase an eight-point deficit in the fourth quarter.

Heather Klinefelter led Hancock with 11 points and seven rebounds while Carrie Beavers was held to six points while pulling down 14 boards.

Dee Brown scored 12 of her 34 points in the first quarter - all on 3-pointers - as Broadfording Christian Academy used pressure to turn back Musselman.

Brown hit seven 3s for the game as Broadfording led 30-23 at the half before returning to the press to extend the lead to 17 points by the end of the third quarter.

Brown added six rebounds and seven steals while Jessica Biddle had 16 points and seven assists for the Lions (13-4). Danielle Gross led Musselman (0-7) with 13 points while Angela Orsini added 12 points.
