Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, City Park, Hagerstown, hosts its annual Valley Art Association Exhibition through Sunday, Feb. 2.

Featuring works by members of this local organization, it includes landscapes, portraits, still lifes and other works created in a variety of media. Many of the pieces on display feature regional locales.

Among works in this year's exhibit are "Sherwood Gardens," an acrylic by Tina Stonestreet of Monrovia; "Caledonia Autumn," an oil by Jean Strike of Chambersburg, Pa.; "Summer Refreshment Memory," an oil by Donna Mason of Hagerstown; and "Cabin in the Woods," a watercolor by Association President Clyde Roberts.

Made up of about 100 residents from throughout the Tri-State region, Valley Art Association evolved from the Society of Hagerstown Artists, which was founded in 1938.
