Ivy K. Clayberg

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Ivy K. Brooks Clayberg, 71, of 280-A Baumgardner Drive, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, at her home.

Born Nov. 4, 1931, in Aston Nr Bampton, Oxford, England, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence Painting Brooks.

She attended schools in England.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in McConnellsburg, Pa.

She is survived by her husband, David R. Clayberg, whom she married Dec. 15, 1951; two daughters, Bonnie M. Paulson and Penny K. Paulson, both of Greencastle; three sons, Roger T. Clayberg of Springfield, Va., Kieth R. Clayberg of Woodbridge, Va., and John D. Clayberg of Chambersburg, Pa.; two sisters, Nancy Eugene of Oxford, and Phyllis Witzke of Aylesbury, England; one brother, Aubrey Brooks of Whitney, England; one half-brother, Derrick Brooks of Aston Nr Bampton, Oxford; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Panting and Betty Zasada; and four brothers, Burt Brooks, Bill Brooks, Ernie Brooks and Victor Brooks.

A memorial service will be Saturday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Waynesboro, Pa. Alan Robinson will officiate.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3901 Waynecastle Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268.




Elsie M. Moore

KNOXVILLE, Md. - Elsie Mae Moore, 87, of 19652 Yarrowsburg Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, at her home.

Born Dec. 17, 1915, in Samples Manor, Md., she was the daughter of the late Hezeikiah and Susie Spencer Best.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Coulter; and her second husband, Ralph Moore.

She retired from Price Electric Co. in Frederick, Md.

She was a member of Brownsville Church of the Brethren.

She was a member of AARP.

She is survived by four daughters, Doretha M. Hanes of Yarrowsburg, S. Marcelle Marshall of Funkstown, Janet L. Gimberling of Tennessee, and Mary L. Horman of Germantown, Md.; one son, M. Leroy Coulter of Hagerstown; one sister, Grace Martin of Yarrowsburg; one brother, Arlie Best of Florida; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Holter and Etta Harman; and three brothers, Gilbert Deener, Luther Deener and Merle Deener.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brownsville Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Daniel Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Old Brownsville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro.

Alexi B. Sizemore

RANSON, W.Va. - Alexi Brynn Sizemore, infant daughter of Charles Leonard and Jennifer Lynn Wessels Sizemore of Ranson, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, at the University of Maryland Medical System.

She was born Dec. 25, 2002, in Baltimore.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one sister, Gabrielle I. Sizemore, at home; and grandparents, Jonathan and Diane Wessels of Galesburg, Ill., and Bob and Sharon Whitehead of Bradenton, Fla.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Brownsville Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home, Charles Town, W.Va.




William A. Albright

William Alfred Albright, 76, of 219 Jefferson St., Hagerstown, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at Washington County Hospital.

Born June 15, 1926, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Harry Alfred and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Albright.

He was employed by M.P. Moller Inc., retiring in 1988 after 37 years of service.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

He was a member of BPO Elks Lodge 378 and Morris Frock American Legion Post 42.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy Kay Albright; two sons, Patrick L. Albright of Hagerstown, and Gary W. Albright of Emmitsburg, Md.; one sister, Virginia I. Keller of Smithsburg; one brother, Wayne E. Albright of Hagerstown; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Pearl Ralls.

A memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, Hagerstown. The Revs. David B. Kaplan and Thomas L. Perry will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mae C. Renner

WILLIAMSPORT - Mae Carrie Mummert Renner, 87, of 12 N. Artizan St., died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, at Washington County Hospital.

Born March 6, 1915, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late William Martin and Carrie Bell Mowen Silvers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Henry Renner, in 1993.
