Shaw, Wallard key Berkeley Springs' comeback surge

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Heather Shaw made the game-winning basket with two seconds to go as Berkeley Springs came from behind to defeat Keyser 62-60 on Thursday.

Amanda Willard stole the ball and scored a layup to tie the gamewith 15 seconds remaining.

Willard had 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists for Berkeley Springs (3-5). Danielle Fox led the Indians with 21 points, while Shaw scored 12 points.

Katie Leatherman led Keyser (1-5) in scoring with 17 points.

Chelsea Trout had 11 points and four steals while Gina Casadei scored 11 points, Allison Coleman and Emily Lancaster each added nine rebounds, and D.J. Fernoy had six assists for Walkersville (6-1, 5-0).

Boonsboro falls to 3-4.
