Sylvia R. Culler

FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Sylvia Ruby Culler, 89, of the Village of Laurel Run, and formerly of Mercersburg, Pa., died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at the Village of Laurel Run.

Born Feb. 15, 1913, in Needmore, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Albert M. and Glenna Mellott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd B. Culler.

She was a homemaker and worked in the cafeteria at McConnellsburg (Pa.) High School for nine years.

She attended Lemaster United Methodist Church, and was a member of McConnellsburg United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Lloyd A. Culler of Mercersburg, and William E. Culler of Robesonia, Pa.; two daughters, Leona Anderton of Moses Lake, Wash., and Martha Cutchall of Zullinger, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Lewis Mellott, Rankin Mellott, John Mellott and Blair Mellott; one sister, Abby M. Tritle; one infant son; and one granddaughter.

Services will be today at 11 a.m. at Rehoboth United Methodist Church. The Revs. Donald Bard and Frank Kocek and Pastor H. Lyle Duffey will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg.




Journey P. Williams-Adams

WILLIAMSPORT - Journey Paige Williams-Adams, infant daughter of Tonya Lynne Williams and Christopher Jonathan Adams, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital Center in New Hartford, N.Y.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one sister, Lyndsey E. Itnyre of Williamsport; one brother, Corey J. Itnyre of Williamsport; maternal grandparents, Walter and Linda Williams of Williamsport; paternal grandmother, Lola Mark Adams of Sarasota, Fla.; and maternal great-grandparents, Donald and Mary Kinzer of Williamsport.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, John Clark Adams Sr.; and her maternal great-grandmother, Earlene Socks Kinzer.

Private memorial services will be at Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsport. The Rev. W. Gregory Martin will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

The family requests the omission of flowers.

Arrangements are by Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport.




Audra M. Yoder

SOUTH MOUNTAIN, Pa. - Audra M. Enos Keith Yoder, 79, of 10859 Coral Ridge Road, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.

Born July 9, 1923, in Johnstown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary Ellen Varner Enos.

Her first husband, Lewis C. Keith died in 1944, and her second husband, William J. Yoder, whom she married Feb. 4, 1946, died March 21, 1982.

She was a 1941 graduate of Somerset (Pa.) High School.

She was employed at South Mountain Restoration Center for 15 years in the dietary department. She retired in 1983.

She was a member of South Mountain Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra L. Mentzer of South Mountain, and Gloria A. Shaffer of Brookville, Pa.; three sons, Lewis C. Keith of New York City, Glenn E. Keith of Scotland, Pa., and William L. Yoder of Waynesboro, Pa.; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two infant daughters; one sister, Hazel Painter; and three brothers, Clyde Enos, Glenn Enos and Manford Enos.

Graveside services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Mizpah Cemetery, Somerset County, Stoneycreek, Township, Pa.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.




Corinne Lizer

HANCOCK - Corinne Lizer, 97, of Hancock, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, at her home.

Born Sept. 26, 1905, in Shepherdstown, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Phillip A. and Cara A. Jacobs Banks.

Her husband of more than 50 years, Paul E. Lizer, died Dec. 11, 1980.

She was a graduate of Shepherdstown High School.

She was a sales clerk for Leiter Brothers Department Store in Hagerstown for 10 years.

She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Hagerstown.

She is survived by two daughters, Paula J. Moon of Hancock, and J. Yvonne Phreaner of Little River, S.C.; one brother, W. Samuel Banks of Shepherdstown; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Delores C. Callis.

Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at John Wesley United Methodist Church, Hagerstown. The Rev. L. Patrick Ricker will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, North Potomac Street, Hagerstown.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Washington County, 101 E. Baltimore St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.




Alan W. Daulbaugh

BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT, Pa. - Alan W. Daulbaugh, 51, of 13600 Dutrow Lane, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, at his home.

Born Nov. 20, 1951, in Cheltenham, England, he was the son of Mildred N. Shook Daulbaugh of Blue Ridge Summit, and the late Walter Francis Daulbaugh.
