Stacy Jackson Goode of Norfolk, Va., George Edward Goode of Matthews, Va., and Skip and Linda Elliott of Fayetteville, Pa., wish to announce the engagement of their children, Sarah Catherine Goode and Dr. J. Zachary Elliott.

Ms. Goode is a 1990 graduate of Maury High School in Norfolk, received a bachelor of fine arts degree from James Madison University in 1994 and is a 2002 graduate of the Gemological Institute of America. She is a self-employed jewelry designer.

Dr. Elliott is a 1991 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School in Chambersburg, Pa., a 1996 graduate of James Madison University and a 2001 graduate of The Pennsylvania College of Osteopathic Medicine. A lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, he completed his internship at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego in June 2002. He is stationed at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla., studying flight surgery and is scheduled to graduate April 25. He will then be assigned to a squadron of pilots.


An April 19 wedding is planned.


Richard and Sharon Mundey of Big Pool wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Dawn, to Paul Christopher Brooks, son of Jesse and Lee Brooks of Clear Spring.

Ms. Mundey is a 2001 graduate of Clear Spring High School and plans to graduate from Hagerstown Business College in April with an associate's degree in medical assisting/secretary. She is employed by JC Penney Co. Inc. in Hagerstown.

Mr. Brooks is a 2001 graduate of Clear Spring High School. He is employed by Rayloc in Hancock.

A Sept. 20 wedding is planned.


Amanda Marie Wilcox and Bradley Wayne Ardinger announce their engagement.

Miss Wilcox is the daughter of Bonnie and Norm Pedersen of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and John Wilcox of Morrisville, Pa. She is a 1999 graduate of Hedgesville High School. She is employed by Direct Mail Processors in Hagerstown.

Mr. Ardinger is the son of Trina Ardinger of Hagerstown and Duane Myers of Williamsport. He is a 1999 graduate of Williamsport High School. He is employed by GBC Films Group in Hagerstown.

A Feb. 15 wedding is planned.
