GREENCASTLE, Pa. - A Chambersburg, Pa., man charged in the fatal shooting of his estranged wife outside of their Guilford Township home last month had a court appearance postponed for the second time Thursday.
Bruce Forsythe Sr. was scheduled to appear before District Justice Shirley Shatzer Thursday for a preliminary hearing, but it was continued. A new hearing date had not been scheduled as of Thursday afternoon.
Forsythe, 53, is charged with one count of first-degree murder, according to court records. He is being held without bail in the Franklin County Prison.
His estranged wife, Joanna Plummer, 32, died of multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest in front of her Molly Pitcher Highway South home on Nov. 24.
