BOYS BASKETBALL



SMITHSBURG - Corey Brown had 23 points and eight rebounds as Smithsburg scored 29 points in the fourth quarter and defeated Brunswick 72-64 in the Monocacy Valley Athletic League on Wednesday night.

Drew Crawford scored 15 points, Sean Hunt added 14 points and Ryan Marquiss had nine rebounds and four steals for the Leopards (2-1, 2-1).

Jeremy Hueston and Brandon Dykes both scored 14 points for the Railroaders (3-2, 2-2), while Jason Anderson added 10 points.
