Union workers at the Hagerstown Lion Ribbon plant ratified a three-year labor agreement on Friday, a corporate official said.

The new contract takes effect Jan. 1 and continues through 2005, said Nancy Schott, vice president of human resources for Berwick Offray.

Local 844 of the Union of Needletrades, Industrial and Textile Employees has approximately 303 members at the ribbon manufacturer's plant on Willow Circle, said Janet Taylor, local union president.
