BOONSBORO - Keith Kellinger's putback with 20 seconds left in regulation capped Boonsboro's rally from a 15-point second-half deficit to force overtime and the Warriors made their free throws count in the extra period of a 54-51 victory over Clear Spring on Friday.

"We started to pressure a little more in the second half and were a little more patient on offense," said Boonsboro coach Chuck Ingram. "The pressure really helped a lot."

Lonnell Smith had 23 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while Nathan Himes had five assists and six steals for the Warriors (2-0).

Will Worthington had 13 points and Cody Beard had 12 for the Blazers (0-3).
