Crazy Horse wins county flag football title

G.E. Ingram threw touchdown passes to Craig Richmond and Ed Johnson, and Chris Ricker caught a TD pass from Doug Grieneisen as Crazy Horse/Bridges Drywall/Coors Light won its third straight Washington County Flag Football League championship 21-19 over Mack Truck Wednesday.

Scott Clark threw a touchdown pass to Shawn Hackey and another to Buck Waters for Mack Truck.

Crazy Horse will face Jan Pro of Hagerstown in the Maryland State Tournament this weekend at Marty Snook Park. The first game starts at 8:30 a.m.

Shepherd cheerleaders to host competition


The Shepherd College cheerleaders, along with Atlantic Cheer-N-Dance, will be hosting the Shepherd College Invitational Cheerleading Competition on Dec. 7 at the Butcher Athletic Center.

Teams competing at any Atlantic event will have the opportunity to receive trophies and awards for high score, spirit, grand champion and avid traveler. They will also compete for a bid to attend Atlantic's National Championships in Washington.
