CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Chambersburg Area Board of School Directors will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The board will meet to continue discussions on the configuration of secondary buildings in the district as well as plans for the future of the elementary school buildings, Superintendent Ed Sponseller said.
He said he expects the meeting will be a conversation among the board members, not a public forum.
In September, the board voted to renovate the existing high school through a performance contract while continuing to explore the possibility of a new secondary school.
Contractors have until later this month to submit proposals, and school officials hope work will begin this summer and be completed by late 2004.
