Veterans program planned Nov. 11
Morris Frock Unit 42, the American Legion Auxiliary, will sponsor a Veterans Day program Monday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. in front of the Washington County Court House on West Washington Street in Hagerstown.
Approximately 30 organizations will place wreaths at the memorial plaque to honor the men and women who served America in war.
The guest speaker for the program will be Sandi Dutton, national chairman of Veteran Affairs and Rehabilitation and a candidate for national president of the American Legion Auxiliary for 2004-05. Dutton has been state American Legion Auxiliary president.
She is a member of Greenbelt Unit 136 American Legion Auxiliary and has been an honorary life member of the unit since 1986. She is a senior account executive with Summit-Harper of Silver Spring, Md.
