D.M. Bowman



WILLIAMSPORT - D.M. Bowman announced the following drivers have reached driving milestones with the company:

  • Rodney L. Smith, a driver based at the Williamsport terminal, recently passed the 1 million-mile mark.

    Smith, of Frostburg, Md., started his career with D.M. Bowman in 1992.

  • Harvey Seville, a driver based at the Frederick, Md., terminal, recently passed the 1 million-mile mark.

    Seville, of Mercersburg, Pa., started his career with D.M. Bowman in 1989.



Jackson Hewitt



Beverly Stitely of the Jackson Hewitt Tax Service's Hagerstown office recently took part in a Jackson Hewitt Tax Service corporate general manager workshop in Dallas.

The workshop focused on upcoming changes to operations, current customer trends, customer service issues and training techniques.

Stitely, who is also an IRS enrolled agent, is to attend regional workshops in Baltimore later this month and in December.

PLANCO



Andrew Serafini, a registered representative with Serafini Financial Services, has earned membership in PLANCO's 2002 Leadership Council.

Membership on the Leadership Council is achieved by insurance representatives who produce more than $1 million in sales in a calendar year.

PLANCO is a wholesaler of investment and insurance products and is a subsidiary of The Hartford.

Trisha Rouse and Pam May of Sagittarius Salon and Sanctuary Spa recently attended a seminar in Washington, D.C.

The seminar was at the Aveda Institute and featured nationally acclaimed "day maker" and Aveda salon owner David Wagner.

Also, Sagittarius owner Marsha Knicely and employees Loree Wesley, Tricia Green, Lorah Nye, Megan Harper and Jessica Crawford recently attended the 2002 International Hair Color Exchange, a two-day event in Washington.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Chambersburg office of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA announced its Agents of the Month for September:

  • Elva Kroeger and Tim Smith tied in the five years-and-over category.

  • Jeff George was the top agent in the five years-and-under category.


They were chosen for the award based on their listings, sales contracts and settlements.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -Butch Cazin was the top producer, seller and lister for September at Long & Foster in Martinsburg.

Cazin also was the agent with the most new listings, with a sales volume of $1,820,650.
