FREDERICK, Md. - Lindsey Plotner had 21 kills and 15 blocks, Denise Sullivan added 21 assists, Jamie Pritchett had 17 service points and Meggie Miller recorded 15 kills as Williamsport (11-1, 8-0) defeated Francis Scott Key, 15-7, 15-12, 11-15, 13-15, 15-8. JV: Williamsport, 2-0.

FREDERICK, Md. - Thomas Johnson defeated upstart Century, 15-1, 15-7, 14-16, 15-1. Erin Maldo had 15 kills, 11 service points and three blocks, Lindsey Merchant had 12 kills and five blocks, Kate Martin had 28 assists and three kills for TJ (10-1, 5-0). JV: Century, 2-0.

Hancock 3, Berkeley Springs 0


BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Danielle Yost had 15 points, Carrie Beaver added 15 kills, while Jodi Keefer had 13 assists and seven kills, Haley Bernard recorded 11 points and three kills and Danielle Bowman tallied 11 assists in the 15-6, 17-15, 15-11 Hancock (10-3) victory. JV: Hancock, 2-0.

Ashley DeMeza led Mercersburg (9-5) with 30 digs, eight service points and three aces while Anna Petrie had 13 kills, Katie Barnes added 35 set assists and Julia Hopkins had four aces in their 15-10, 15-10, 15-11 sweep of Goretti.

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Jacob Ashby, Ryan Okal and Duncan Williams scored for Hedgesville while Eric Rauser scored two goals and Chema Berrendero scored once for Mercersburg Academy (3-5-4) on Tuesday.

Hagerstown Browns 40, Hagerstown Packers 0: Darnell Benson rushed for over 125 yards and four touchdowns, Alec Nelson and Ross Carpenter each added a touchdown run, and Jesse DeLeon had an extra point run for the Browns.

Clear Spring Chargers 12, Hagerstown Redskins 0: Brandon Glazer and Jeremy Spangler both ran for a touchdown apiece as the Chargers earned their first playoff berth.

Hagerstown Dolphins 34, Hagerstown Steelers 7: Logan Kelso threw for over 100 yards and two touchdowns, one to Guido Roche and another to Dameatric Scott, who added a touchdown run for the Dolphins. Kelso also added two 2-point kicks, while Marcellus Sumlin and Brody Nave both scored on touchdown runs. Christopher Smith ran for the lone Steelers touchdown, with Ian Anderson adding the extra point run.

Williamsport Vikings 32, Boonsboro Buccaneers 6: Chad Bikle led the Vikings with a running touchdown and a pass to Bryan Parlett for the extra point, while Joe Saunders, Michael Hill and Ted Dyson each ran for a touchdown. Decarlos Smith scored on a touchdown run for the Buccaneers.

Hagerstown Giants 57, Boonsboro Titans 0: Eddie Dorsey, Ben Benner and Greg Pheabus each ran for two touchdowns apiece for the Giants. Also scoring were Adam Merrbaugh, Dalton Calogar and Mason Burnett on rushing touchdowns and Dustin Smith on a receiving touchdown.

Williamsport Bears 28, Smithsburg Jets 13: Matt Campbell and Darian Scott both had two rushing touchdowns for the Bears, who clinched the county division title with the win.

Josh Conway scored on a run and Randall Freehling caught a touchdown pass from Jason Kendall for the Jets.
