HARRISBURG, Pa. - Vince Beamer scored three touchdowns for McDevitt in a 32-6 win over No. 5 Chambersburg in Mid-Penn Commonwealth Division football action Monday.

Beamer returned two punts for scores and had a TD reception from Marcus Stone, who passed for 157 yards and two touchdowns. Mike Goldston had two scores for the Crusaders - a 74-yard TD pass from Stone and a 26-yard TD run.

Brad Mann scored on a 19-yard run for Chambersburg (2-5).

Luke Mansfield led Hedgesville with a hat trick and an assist, while J.D. Schultz had two goals and an assist, Eli Griffin and Trey Butler each added a goal, Josh Himie had an assist and Travis Hines had seven saves for Eagles.

Joey Spierenburg, John Barrett and Gebe Schramm each scored a goal for Goretti (7-9-1), while David Savino added an assist and Pat McCullough and Kevin Brashears combined for 15 saves in goal.

Walkersville 2, Brunswick 1

WALKERSVILLE, Md. - Adam Clay and Jon Humerick each scored a goal for Walkersville (4-6, 3-3) and Richie Gilbert had four saves in the MVAL win. Chad Baker had 12 saves in goal for Brunswick. JV: Walkersville, 3-0.

POTTSTOWN, Pa. - Todd Threlfall, T.D. McDermott-Doviak and Isaac Lungu each scored a goal for Hill, with Mike vanBeuren adding an assist. Eric Rahauser scored on an assist from Shahzaib Merwat for Mercersburg (3-5-3), while Andrew Rohman recorded 14 saves in goal.

BRUNSWICK, Md. - Leah McCallum scored on an assist from Chris Shortz with 13 seconds remaining in overtime to win the game for Brunswick. Shortz added a goal and Christen Ridlen made five saves for Brunswick(5-4-2) which played its fourth straight overtime game.

Sarah Rittelmeyer scored off of a direct kick for Walkersville, while Anna Lebo had eight saves in goal.

SYKESVILLE, Md. - Emily Sykes scored two goals and Katie Spencer scored one to lead Thomas Johnson. Erin Lathrop recorded three saves for the shutout for the Patriots (6-2, 3-0).

UNION BRIDGE, Md. - Meggan McGill had two goals to lead the Wildcats as they outshot FSK, 23-3. Laura Scuffins and Kara Hoffman each scored a goal for Williamsport (7-3-2, 5-1-2 MVAL).

FREDERICK, Md. - Madison Keller and Marta Merkel each scored unassisted to lead St. John's-PH. Lindsey Weaver had four saves as she recorded her 18th straight league shutout for SJPH (11-2, 4-1).

WALKERSVILLE, Md. - Kenzie Bowen had nine service points and two aces while Katy Powell added seven kills, Laura Lindsay had 10 service points and three kills and Katie Franklin recorded 14 assists for Smithsburg (14-1) in the 15-5, 15-5, 15-0 sweep. JV: Smithsburg, 2-0.

FAIRFIELD, Pa. - Kathy Kershner led Greencastle (9-7) with 12 service points, four aces and 25 assists in the 15-9, 15-4 victory. Aindee Eshleman had 12 defensive digs, Jessica Ritchie recorded four hits, six kills and two blocks and Alicia Thompson added eight hits for the Blue Devils.

WILLIAMSPORT - Williamsport remained undefeated in the MVAL as it swept Catoctin, 15-3, 15-1, 15-8. Denise Sullivan had 12 service points and 11 assists, Lindsey Plotner had seven kills, four blocks and 11 digs and Kristin Weir had seven kills for the Wildcats (10-1, 7-0).
