Christina Waters scored two goals while Rachael Horst, Megan Harclerode and Bonnie Dowell each added one each on Thursday as Boonsboro (1-10, 1-6) scored a 5-2 victory over South Hagerstown for its first win of the season.

Lauren Cecil and Megan Sensenbaugh each had goal for South (0-11, 0-7) while Brianne Jamison made eight saves.

Sam Fulmer had seven service points and two aces, Kelly Wills added four kills and Ashley Mothershead recorded four assists and seven service points for Goretti (2-11).

Heather Jenkins led Jefferson with 14 service points and Hannah Lloyd with 10 service points in its 15-6, 15-12, 15-9 victory. JV: Jefferson 2, Goretti 0

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Anna Petry recorded 42 digs, nine kills and two blocks while Ashley DeMeza had seven service points and 15 assists in Mercersburg Academy's 15-9, 15-10, 15-7 loss to Musselman. Patricia Dewey added two blocks for Mercersburg (8-4).

McConnellsburg 2, Everett 0

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Lesley Umbrell had 15 service points and Jade Anthony had six service points as McConnellsburg (13-0) scored a 15-2, 15-5 sweep of Everett.

Heidi Swope added six service points and 17 assists and Kara Carmack recorded seven kills and eight blocks for McConnellsburg while Steph Taylor had four kills and five blocks.

BEALL, Md. - Carrie Beaver had 13 kills and six points, Jodi Keefer had 11 assists and seven points and Haley Barnard had six kills and 12 points as Hancock (9-3) defeated Beall, 15-13, 15-12, 15-9. Danielle Bowman had 11 assists for the Panthers. JV: Hancock, 2-0.

Heather Stamper had five kills and four blocks and Heidi Stamper added five kills for Heritage (4-8) in the 15-6, 15-10, 15-7 loss.


Goretti 3, St. John's-PH 1

David Savino scored two goals, Ben Milgour had a goal and Kevin Brashears recorded 10 saves for Goretti (6-8-1, 3-2-0). Joe Potochek scored the lone goal for St. John's while Tommy Kelly had seven saves.

Heritage 2, CVCS 1

Jesse Latta scored both goals for Heritage (3-7), one on a penalty kick and the game-winner in the final minute of the match.

Hedgesville 5, Fort Hill 0

CUMBERLAND, Md. - Bryan Miller scored two goals to lead Hedgesville (9-2-2), while Trey Butler had a goal and two assists and Duncan Williams recorded a goal and an assist. Tanya Scholz, Anjuli, Sirisha and Ripal Shah all scored singles victories while Tanya Scholz and Sophie Scholz combined to win at doubles.

Josh Barhart scored twice while Chris Lantz, Jamie Moore and Jared Timmons each added goals in Hagerstown Community College's victory over Potomac State.
