The Washington County Community Partnership presented four awards Tuesday. Those honored were:
- Business/Community Leader: Washington County Sheriff's Deputy James Holsinger, for assisting in the coordination of the Washington County Reality Program, which educated first-time youth offenders on how drugs and alcohol affect the user, the family and the community.
- Direct Service Professional: Pat Firey, Washington County Health Department, for demonstrated leadership in programs for pregnant women, infants and children.
- Person of Character: Sharon Ernst, Lincolnshire Elementary School, for her performance over the last nine years as parent involvement coordinator for the school.
