Clear Spring Middle School receives superior rating

October 07, 2002|by PEPPER BALLARD

Clear Spring Middle School was one of five Maryland schools to receive a superior rating for maintenance among a sample of 100 public schools surveyed this year.

Two Calvert County schools, one Allegany County school and one Cecil County school also earned the status, which was based on surveys the Department of General Services for the Public School Construction Program conducted earlier this year.

This is the 22nd year the department has conducted the surveys. Elements reviewed were roofs, roadways, mechanical systems, light fixtures, plumbing, windows and general building cleanliness.
