SYKESVILLE, Md. - Cadets quarterback Cory Rhodes rushed for 194 yards and three touchdowns, but South Carroll passed for 334 yards two touchdowns in a 49-26 victory over Frederick on Monday evening.

Brad Lawrence had a 39-yard interception return for touchdown for Frederick. Warren Holloman rushed for 135 yards.

Ben McAbee scored two goals - assisted by Austin Lucas and Mikael Tigrett - within a two-minute span to give North Hagerstown its ninth straight victory.

Tigrett also scored for the Hubs (9-1, 5-0).

Jerry Spessard scored on a penalty shot for Smithsburg. JV: North, 2-1.

Boonsboro 3, Brunswick 2

BOONSBORO - Sean Beyard had two goals and Marc Nicolosi added one to lead Boonsboro (3-4, 2-2). David Byers had an assist and Chad Baker had eight saves for the Warriors.

Mike Belucci and Scott Custon both scored for Brunswick.

J. Buchanan 2, Greencastle 1

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Peter Dell and Matt Myers scored unassisted goals to lead James Buchanan.

Jesse Latta scored twice, while Drew Kidd and Mike Scotti each had assists for Hertiage (2-6).

WALKERSVILLE, Md. - Lainey Nichols and Beth Rice both scored for Middletown.

WILLIAMSPORT - Laura Scuffins, Maggie Miller, Meggan McGill and Morgan McGill each scored two goals, while Michelle Mummert, Holli Bowers and Kara Hoffman each had one goal for Williamsport (6-1, 4-0).

Emily van Norden had two assists while Mummert, Miller, Bowers, Brittany Higgins and Kim Hutzell each had one assist. Elizabeth Coleman and Caitlin Witman combined on the shutout. JV: Williamsport, 11-0.

SAXTON, Pa. - Stephanie Paylor had eight service points, five kills and three blocks to lead McConnelsburg, 15-7, 16-14.

Kara Carmack had eight service points, Jade Anthony had seven kills and Heidi Swope had 15 assists for the Spartans (9-0).

Grace Academy defeated Heritage Academy in straight sets, 15-10, 15-9, 15-10.

Susanna Hill had 14 assists and seven kills, while Lauren Durbin had 15 kills and three blocks and Ashley Michael had 12 assists and three kills for Grace (12-0, 10-0 Mason-Dixon Christian Conference).

Jeanine King and Heather Stamper each had six assists, Abby Ellis had seven blocks and Heidi Stamper had six kills and four blocks for Heritage (4-6).

South 3, Walkersville 1

WALKERSVILLE, Md. - Susan Lewis had 21 service points and Angie Dietrich had 12 serivce points and nine assists as South Hagerstown won 5-15, 15-8, 15-6, 15-13 in the MVAL.

Brittany Beard had 11 service points, while Jamie Fowler had four kills and four assists and Kelly Renner had four kills and three service points for the Rebels (3-6, 2-3). JV: South, 2-0.

HANCOCK - Loni Layton had 13 service points and three kills to lead Southern Fulton, 15-3, 15-3, 15-8.
