Maurice E. Munson

BOONSBORO - Maurice Ellwood "Bud" Munson, 86, of Reeders Memorial Home, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at Washington County Hospital.

Born March 23, 1916, in Hancock, he was the son of the late Charles Clayton and Jesse Irene Kriner Munson.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine Virginia Lewis Munson.

He had been a farmer and was employed by Pangborn Corp. in Hagerstown.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of Boonsboro Bible Church.

He was a member of C.I.O. Local 694 of Hagerstown.

He is survived by his wife, Doris E. Moser Munson; a son, Carlton E. Munson of Hagerstown; a stepson, Gregory L. Moser of Hagerstown; and four step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, Darrell Moser; six sisters, Madeline Munson, Maxine Hurd, Patricia A. Blevins, Louise Koontz, Gladys Palmer and Kathleen Staley; and three brothers, Floyd Munson, Charles Munson and Fred Munson.

Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro. The Revs. Robert D. Welty and Joseph Downs will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boonsboro Bible Church, Building Fund, 6741 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713.




Harry W. Clark Sr.

BUNKER HILL, W.Va. - Harry W. Clark Sr., 64, of Bunker Hill, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, at his home.

Born Jan. 20, 1938, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of Margie Timmons Clark and the late Harry F. Clark.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Linda Kay Wise Clark; four daughters, Nancy Clark at home, Mary Lapole and Hazel Zombro, both of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Susan Jacobs of Inwood, W.Va.; two sons, Harry W. Clark Jr. of Winchester, Va., and Melvin F. Clark of Philadelphia; six sisters, Anna Jacobs, Rose Penwell, Carolyn Wise and Evelyn Starliper, all of Martinsburg, Helen Kern of Inwood and Linda Pennington of Hedgesville, W.Va., three brothers, Leroy T. Clark, Roger L. Clark and John W. Clark, all of Martinsburg; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Clark, and a brother, Ernest Clark.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ramona K. Eavey

Ramona Katherine Eavey, 96, of Hagerstown, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at the home of her niece in Kearneysville, W.Va.

Born July 17, 1906, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late William L. and Nellie M. Barger Shank.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon A. Eavey, in 1993.

She retired from Western Maryland Railroad Co.

She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church.

She was a member of Conaudaigua-Fenogowan Chapter 326 Order of the Eastern Star of New York.

She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Saum of Hagerstown; her niece and caregiver, Juliana E. Holland of Kearneysville; three great-nieces; a great-great-niece; and two great-great-nephews.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Dennis L. Upton will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, where the Order of the Eastern Star will hold a memorial service.

Camilla A. McAninch

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Camilla Ann Barnhart McAninch, 61, of 10967 Weatherstone Drive, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at her home.

Born Oct. 26, 1940, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Wishard and Anna Mildred Boward Barnhart.

She was a 1958 graduate of Waynesboro High School and attended Medical Secretary School in Harrisburg, Pa.

She was a medical secretary for Dr. Harry D. Bikle in Waynesboro for 20 years.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Waynesboro.

She is survived by her husband, DeWayne "Mac" McAninch, whom she married Feb. 2, 1963, an aunt and cousins.

Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro. The Rev. James T. Williams will officiate.

At her request, there will be no public viewing. The family will receive friends Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Erval K. Barry

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Erval K. Barry, 89, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002.

Born Nov. 21, 1912, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Ruth E. Elms Hardesty.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Elmer Barry.

She attended Trinity United Methodist Church.
